In January, UK Trade & Investment is organising a Trade Mission to Kuwait to showcase the UK’s Port and Construction Sectors.  UK companies are well placed to secure significant business from the numerous development opportunities which the Kuwaiti Government has planned for the next few years.  British Companies looking to new business opportunities in Kuwait wish to receive expert support and advice, not only from UK Trade & Investment but to listen to the knowledge and experience of our business community.   The BBF Kuwait is participating in this Trade Mission programme and we would like your support.   

We would like to know if BBF members and guests are interested in attending, either or both, of the following business meetings:

1.Tuesday 24 January - A Panel Discussion of leading British Consultants on Kuwait’s Infrastructure and Construction Sector on Tuesday 24 January, commencing 7pm at the Costa Del Sol Hotel.  Attending will be up to 25 UK companies from the visiting UK Trade Mission.  This meeting will appeal to BBF Sector Group members and guests with a genuine interest, or already playing a part, in the National Development Plan mega projects with opportunities to British companies.    

2.Wednesday 25 January - A UK Port and Construction Trade Mission Reception at the British Embassy ‘Atrium’ on Wednesday 25 January, 6.30pm to 8.30pm.  Members and guests will have the opportunity to network with the UK Trade Mission delegates and learn more about their products from low carbon sustainability, green technologies buildingsto port management, security, education and training and more.  Official Embassy invitations will be sent to all members and guests that register (with the BBF office) an interest in attending the reception.       
Please note that intention to attend should be made before 16 January 2012 so that meeting and reception arrangements can be made.  It is also a requirement to bring your Civil ID or Passport to any Embassy function.  You may use our on-line booking form to register your interest in attending.
